Welcome to the online emerging reader library. For children who are emerging readers and still working on phonic development, these books provide an additional source of reading from home and should be treated as supplementary home reading for enjoyment. Whilst these books will not necessarily be fully phonically decodable at your child's level and may include exception words and unknown clusters, the colour-coded book bands will give you a rough guide to the level of book your child may be able to enjoy both with you and independently to build up their reading confidence.  

These books are primarily targetted at pupils who have not yet or just started Accelerated Reader. You can download the pdf file of the book you want to read and then use a website like https://dearflip.com/pdf-viewer/ (or an ebook app if you have one) to view the file as a book.
