Back home and all of the children and adults have had a super time, although ready to sleep! They behaved excellently throughout the week and supported one another, challenging themselves and surprising themselves! All of the parents should be very proud of how resilient and enthusiastic their children have been! Have a lovely weekend!

Our final day has arrived. We are all packed and busy enjoying our last 2 activities before we leave - it has been an amazing trip! You can be really proud of your children's efforts. Looking forward to sharing our stories with you all later.

Another great day of challenge and fun. Children have shot arrows and plunged several metres on the giant swing. They have also worked in teams to build rafts and tested them on the water...a few of the children got very wet! We finished the day singing songs around the campfire. Looking forward to our final activities tomorrow.

  • A great first day (Caythorpe Blog)

We’ve had a fun-filled first day here at Caythorpe! The children have zoomed down zip wires, climbed cargo nets, swung on ropes and ended the afternoon with a delicious evening meal (not to mention Miss Bray’s favourite pudding - apple crumble and custard!) Room inspections have taken place and need severe improvement before Friday! We finished our day with a great game of Capture the Flag and we’re about to settle down for the night. The weather has been kind to us so far and fingers crossed for more sunshine tomorrow!
