Online Safety
Keeping safe online is an important part of safeguarding.
As a school, we take seriously our responsibility to educate children about and protect children against the risks associated with the internet. Staying safe online is part of the computing and PSHE curricula.
We are fortunate to have a CEOP trained e-safety specialist at Westfield who delivers the majority of online safety teaching across the school and is available to support parents directly with any issues or concerns. We regularly communicate with parents about e-safety issues and hold e-safety sessions for parents every other year due to the fast changing nature of technology.
If you have any questions about online safety, please don't hesitate to contact our Computing Lead, Stuart Wilkinson, at school. For further information, useful links and to watch a recording of our most recent meeting with parents, please visit our e-safety page.
