What support do we offer for Parent/Carers of pupils with SEND?
- The Class Teacher is regularly available to discuss your child’s progress or any concerns you may have. This can take place with the class teacher at the end of the school day or alternatively by contacting the school office to arrange an appointment.
- The School will share any strategies that they have found useful to support your child and in turn value any information you share about what is working well at home, so that we can work together to the benefit of the child.
- SENCo and Inclusion Worker are available to meet with you to discuss any questions that you may have (please contact the School Office to make an appointment).
- A home-school communication book may be used.
- Your child’s personal progress targets will be shared and reviewed with your involvement and your views valued to improve individual provision.
- All information from outside agencies will be discussed with you and reports shared.
- A lunchtime Homework Club, run by a teacher, is available for pupils who are having difficulty completing their work at home.
