Another amazing day! Highlights included: lots of children far exceeding their expectations on the climbing wall; some terrifyingly accurate axe throwing and archery; Miss Smith falling into some nettles off a bmx bike and a birthday celebration with delicious cake! Looking forward to our day at the Think Tank tomorrow.
Canoeing chaos continued this morning! We have had some glorious sunshine on the canal, with lots of laughter and a few wet children (some more than others!).
Meanwhile, others tried their hand at axe throwing and archery. We discovered we have some very talented archers - including Miss Smith!
Now onto our afternoon activities!
Good morning! Children have had a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast and are ready for another day of adventure. First room inspections were pretty good but room for improvement! Looking forward to our first activities of archery/axe throwing and canoeing.
A great first day! Some children got very wet having fun in canoes, while others conquered their fears on the climbing wall or developed their cycling skills on bmx bikes. This was then followed by a delicious dinner and an evening treasure hunt which tested their geography skills. All are now exhausted and falling asleep.
We have arrived!
The children have eaten lunch, made their beds (mostly!) and are now getting ready for our first activity. The sun is shining - hooray!
