Photos photos photos!
The school tablets that were taken away last week have been dusted down, retrieved from great heights and survived a few trips in a canoe and the many many photos and video clips taken can now be accessed here .
These photos have not been published publicly on our website and a Year 5 learning platform log in is required to view them.
We are still on schedule for a 4pm arrival.
And just like that we are on our way home! What a fabulous time we've had!
Our current ETA is 4pm, however we will keep you updated throughout our journey if timings change.
Good Morning all!
A last minute scramble for souvenirs yesterday evening and then all began packing ready to come
back.
We had a great day at The Think Tank - particularly the amazing planetarium and the really engaging forensic science session. There are some budding detectives in our midst! We finished off the day with a campfire and songs after a dinner of pizza, fishfingers or baked potato. The children ( those of them that are awake) are now busy stripping beds, forcing things into cases and trying to work out whose sock that is.
Two groups are climbing the high ropes course this morning, and two are bmx biking and rock climbing.
Looking forward to seeing you all later.
Good Morning
Another great day yesterday, and a busy evening hence no blog post! A good night's sleep means we're all raring to go this morning ready to head off to The Think Tank. Yesterday saw groups axe throwing, bmxing, climbing, playing Viking games... The children are really pushing themselves to try new things and go outside their comfort zone. Room inspections were impressive this morning - some creative touches being thrown in to score a few extra points!
Great weather so far too - a nice surprise.
See you all tomorrow.
Good morning! We are up, dressed, room inspections carried out (a marked improvement from yesterday!) and our bellies are full. The children are looking forward to a morning of canoeing, axe throwing and Viking games!
After conquering the 'world domination' challenge this evening and enjoying a delicious hot chocolate, the children are tucked up in bed asleep - hopefully for the rest of the night! We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. Night night!
We have arrived safe and sound, first activity done and now getting ready for evening meal. The children have had a lovely first afternoon and the sun is shining!
Just to confirm that pupils have arrived safely at Laches Wood.
Text updates will appear on this blog whilst Year 5 pupils are away at Laches Wood.
A link to access photos will be available after pupils have returned to school.
